Tippecanoe Valley seniors Remington Rickel and Colton Crabb lost their first-round matches at the Fort Wayne semistate at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Saturday and were eliminated.
Rickel lost to Angola junior Dallas Davidson by fall in 26 seconds at 150 pounds. He finished 31-19.
Crabb lost to Winchester junior Wesley Hendrickson by fall in 46 seconds at 175 pounds to finish 30-12.
Valley’s most recent state qualifier was Bazle Owens in 2023.
Delta won the team title with 115.5 points. New Haven was second with 105.5
