Girls basketball
Northridge 58, Tippecanoe Valley 32 (Wednesday): Gaby Gonzalez scored eight points for the host Lady Vikings in a loss to Class 4A, No. 6 Northridge Wednesday.
Hadley Wise and Lucy Hayden added seven each, Carlee Snyder had six, and Dalynne Bussard had four for Valley, who fell to 7-8.
Sophomore Lily Scholl led Northridge (16-2) with 22 points. She outscored the entire Valley team 13-12 in the second half. Rielyn Goodwin added 12, and Camryn Conley had 11.
Northridge led 28-20 at halftime and then outscored Valley 20-2 in the third quarter.

Hadley Wise hit three 3-pointers and scored a game-high 13 points to lead the Lady Vikings past Harrison in the consolation game of the Brebeuf Jesuit Invitational on Dec. 28.
Gaby Gonzalez added nine, and Carlee Snyder had eight.
Harrison made more free throws (9) than Valley attempted (6), but Valley held the Lady Raiders to just six field goals.
Valley led 19-13 at halftime and extended the margin to 30-22 after three quarters.
Valley is 7-7. This marked their first win over a Class 4A opponent this season.

Wise scored seven points in the first quarter as Valley took a 9-8 lead.
Laniah Davis led Marquette Catholic with 21. Natalie Robinson added 10.
The game was tied 20-20 at halftime before Marquette Catholic outscored Valley 16-5 in the third quarter.
