Wilson named honorable mention

Rochester seniors Rylee Clevenger and Ella McCarter were named first-team all-Three Rivers Conference, and sophomore teammate Aubrey Wilson was named honorable mention all-TRC in voting done by the conference’s coaches.
The voting was made public on social media Monday.
Clevenger averaged 8.9 points per game, 1.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.7 steals per game. She led the team with 54 3-pointers and made at least one 3 in 22 of the Lady Zs’ 23 games.
McCarter averaged 8.8 points per game and also led the team with 6.6 rebounds and assists with 3.4 per game.
Clevenger finished her career with 592 points. McCarter had 457.
Wilson led the team in scoring with 9.9 ppg and steals with 2.8 per game. She also averaged 3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
She scored a season-high 19 points in a 42-41 win at North Miami on Nov. 13.
Rochester finished 16-7 overall and 6-3 in the TRC. They tied for third with Northfield.
Maconaquah won their Class 3A sectional, and Whitko and Lewis Cass won their Class 2A sectionals and will play in regional games Saturday.
