Prater earns honorable mention

Rochester seniors Drew Bowers and Tanner Reinartz were named all-Three Rivers Conference in voting done by the conference’s coaches and released to the media Monday.
In addition, senior Owen Prater was named honorable mention all-TRC.
Bowers averaged 17.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 3 steals per game. He led the team in scoring, assists and steals. His 39 3-pointers were second on the team behind Reinartz’s 41.
Reinartz averaged 11.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2.1 steals per game. In addition to 3-pointers, he also led the team in rebounding. He was also second in scoring, third in assists and second in steals.
Prater averaged 8 points, 4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game. He was third on the team in scoring and second in rebounding and assists.
Reinartz finished with 760 career points, Bowers had 681, and Prater had 471.
Manchester and Maconaquah shared the conference title with identical 8-1 records. Both went on to win sectional titles last week. Rochester went 6-3 in the TRC and finished in fourth place.
