Rochester girls wrestling regional matchups

The Rochester girls wrestling regional qualifiers will face these wrestlers in their first-round matches at the Rochester regional at 9 a.m. this Friday.

There are 16 wrestlers in each weight class. A wrestler must finish in the top four in her weight class to advance to state. A wrestler who loses in the first or second round is eliminated.

ROCHESTER

105 – Lilly Gerald vs. Yuridia Iisidoro-Rufino (Lafayette Central Catholic)

110 – Rilyn Strasser vs. Emely Herrera (Crawfordsville)

125 – Makenna McKee vs. Makyila Rubush (Kokomo)

130 – Kyra Doran vs. Brooklyn Bates (Clinton Prairie)

140 – Elise Enyart vs. Mikayla Rosenbaum (Lebanon)

145 – Lexi Haughs vs. Myah Adams (Twin Lakes)

170 – Laine Peppler vs. forfeit

NOTE: Peppler will face the winner between Bianca Mic Montes (Crawfordsville) and Kylee Kleist (Tri-County) in the second round.
