Rochester girls tennis wins John Glenn Invite

McCarter, Holloway go 3-0 on the day

Girls tennis

The Rochester girls tennis team went 2-1 on the day and won the John Glenn Invitational Saturday. They are now 3-1 on the season.

Rpochester beat Knox 5-0, lost to John Glenn 3-2 and beat LaVille 5-0.

Ella McCarter went 3-0 on the day at No. 1 singles, and Rily Holloway went 3-0 at No. 2 singles. Rylee Clevenger went 2-1 at No. 3 singles, Olivia Bailey and Audrey Bolinger went 2-1 at No. 1 doubles, and Taylor Howard and Elizabeth Weaver went 2-1 at No. 2 doubles.

RESULTS: ROCHESTER 5, KNOX 0

Singles

Ella McCarter (RHS) won 10-5.

Rily Holloway (RHS) won 10-3.

Rylee Clevenger (RHS) won 10-5.

Doubles

Olivia Bailey-Audrey Bolinger (RHS) won 7-4.

Taylor Howard-Elizabeth Weaver (RHS) won 10-4.

Singles

Ella McCarter (RHS) won 10-5.

Rily Holloway (RHS) won 10-4.

Rylee Clevenger (RHS) lost 10-4.

Olivia Bailey-Audrey Bolinger (RHS) lost 10-1.

Taylor Howard-Elizabeth Weaver (RHS) lost 10-4.
