Rochester finishes 8th, Winamac 12th at Twin Lakes Invite

Girls golf

The Rochester girls golf team shot a 402 and finished eighth, and Winamac shot a 421 and finished 12th out of 16 teams at the Twin Lakes Invitational at Tippecanoe Country Club in Monticello Saturday.

Payton Moore shot a 92, Ava Thomas had a 94, Kat Rensberger had a 95, and Reagan Becker had a 121 for the Lady Zs.

Keira Bucinski led Winamac with a 99. Bianca Huizar had a 100, Janet Calfee had a 109, Giselle Lowry had a 113, and Olivia Link had a 116.

Lebanon won the tournament with a 347. Runner-up Plymouth finished 22 strokes behind.

Lebanon’s Ella Taylor carded an 80 and defeated Northwestern’s Audrey Koetter in a playoff for medalist honors.
