Rochester boys to host Valley Nov. 30; NM pushed back to Feb. 1

The Rochester boys basketball team will host Tippecanoe Valley Nov. 30, according to an email from Rochester athletic director Cal Stone.

The JV game will start at 1 p.m., and the varsity game will follow at 2:30 p.m.

The game had been originally scheduled for Dec. 27, but Valley will instead participate in a holiday tournament at Switzerland County on Dec. 27-28.

When North Miami was forced to postpone their game with Rochester on Nov. 30 due to the success of their football team, that opened a date for Valley to be the opponent.

The North Miami-Rochester game was pushed back to Feb. 1. Start time is 6 p.m./7:30 p.m. (JV/Varsity).

Rochester will play a 20-game regular season schedule.

The season opener is a home game against Culver on Nov. 27.
