Pioneer’s Makenna Strycker has been named to the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association/Franciscan Health Senior Honorable Mention All-State team.
The IBCA selected a “Supreme 15” of top players regardless of school size and another 15 players to its Small School All-State team.
Strycker was one of 93 players statewide to make the Honorable Mention list.
Strycker led Pioneer in scoring (17.8 points per game), rebounding (7.2 per game), assists (4.2 per game) and steals (3 per game). Strycker, a Wittenberg University recruit, has already been named first-team all-Hoosier North.
Pioneer went 12-13 this season and 3-5 in the Hoosier North. The season ended with a 53-27 loss to Tri-County in the Class 1A, Sectional 50 final Feb. 10.
