Boys basketball
North Miami 47, Pioneer 40 (Saturday): Ezra Lewellen scored 14 points, but the Pioneer boys basketball team fell to North MIami Saturday.
Drew McKaig added seven points, and Addai Lewellen and Hunter Klepinger had six each.
The game was tied 18-18 at halftime.
North Miami made more free throws (13) than Pioneer attempted (12).

North White outscored Pioneer 19-6 in the fourth quarter to rally from a 30-23 deficit.
The Lady Vikings outscored Pioneer 15-6 from the foul line.

Culver Academy at Pioneer, canceled: The Culver Academy-Pioneer wrestling dual scheduled for Tuesday was canceled. Pioneer traveled to Frontier for a dual instead.
Pioneer will also have a home dual against LaVille Thursday.
Swimming
Lewis Cass at Pioneer, canceled: The Lewis Cass-Pioneer swimming meet scheduled for Tuesday was canceled.
The Panthers will begin their season with a three-way home dual against Lafayette Central Catholic and Carroll (Flora) Thursday.
