Girls basketball
Winamac 54, Frontier 21 (Tuesday): Kandace Kroft hit five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 23 points, and Sadie Popejoy added two treys and 14 points for the host Lady Warriors in a season-opening rout of Frontier Tuesday.
Marissa Iverson added 11 points for Winamac.
Winamac led 24-7 at halftime and extended the lead to 38-11 after three quarters.
