Hook scores 21, hits game-winning 3-pointer as Caston beats N. Judson

Caston 57, North Judson 54 (Friday): Lane Hook scored seven of his game-high 21 points in the fourth quarter, including the game-winning 3-pointer with 0.7 seconds left, as the visiting Caston boys basketball team beat North Judson Friday.

Logan Mollenkopf added 16, including five in the fourth quarter.

Carson Harness hit two treys, including one in the fourth quarter, and had six. Reed Sommers also had six.

Logan Pradke led North Judson with 15. Christian Ingram added 11, and Kole Wilcox had 10.

Already leading 44-38, North Judson scored the first six points of the fourth quarter to stretch their lead to 12 before Caston rallied.

Caston improved to 8-10 overall and 4-2 in the Hoosier North. North Judson dropped to 7-11, 1-5.

This marks the first time Caston has won at North Judson since the teams became conference rivals in 2015. This also marks the first time Caston has beaten North Judson in back-to-back years over that span.
