Dunfee strikes out 13 in Zebras JV win over Maconaquah

Rochester 3, Maconaquah 2 (JV, Thursday): Gavin Mollencupp went 1 for 1 with two RBIs, and Brady Gamble, Jonas Kiser and Adrian Ochoa also had a hit for the Rochester JV baseball team in a walk-off win over Maconaquah in six innings Thursday.

Carter Merideth walked twice and was hit by a pitch and scored twice. Ochoa also walked twice, and Callen Ferverda walked and scored a run.

Conner Dunfee pitched a five-hitter with two walks and 13 strikeouts. Rochester committed five errors behind him, and both runs were unearned.

Rochester led 2-0 after three innings before the Braves scored single runs in the fourth and fifth to tie it.
