Boys wrestling
Led by weight class champions Colton Crabb and Diego Gonsalez, the Tippecanoe Valley boys wrestling team finished fourth out of six teams at the Indiana Northern State Conference meet at LaVille Saturday.
Valley scored 164.5 points. Bremen won the title with 231 points, one more than runner-up Knox.
Crabb won the title at 175, pinning Jimtown’s Tristan Harder in 3:15 for the title.
Gonzalez was the 190-pound champion after Jimtown’s Owen Glass had to default due to injury in the championship match.
The only other Valley wrestler to make a championship match was junior Masen Fincher, who lost the title match at 215 to Bremen’s Logan Frederickson.
Valley forfeited 106, 113, 120 and heavyweight.
