Caston 60, West Central 53 (Saturday): Caleb Stinson scored nine of his team-high 16 points in the fourth quarter, and Colby Pugh scored 10 of his 15 in the fourth quarter for the visiting Comets in a win over sectional rival West Central Saturday.
Talon Zeider hit four 3-pointers and added 13, and Cain Schanlaub had 11 for Caston, who improved to 4-7 and beat West Central for the fourth straight time.
Bryce Nannenga led West Central with 21 points before fouling out.
Caston made more free throws (16) than West Central attempted (14). Pugh and Stinson went a combined 10 for 10 from the line in the fourth quarter.
West Central led 24-23 at halftime and at 38-32 after three quarters before Caston scored 28 points in the fourth quarter.
Caston hosts Rochester at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
