Rochester 167, Western 217 (Tuesday): Olivia Bailey fired a 37 to earn medalist honors, and Molly Moore shot a personal-best 39 over nine holes for host Rochester in a win over Western over the front nine at Round Barn Golf Club in Mill Creek Tuesday.
Ava Thomas added a 44, Lexi Haughs had a 47, and Laynie Migonis had a 53.
Grace Williams led Western with a 51.
Rochester moved up from No. 17 to No. 16 in the state coaches poll after placing fourth at the Western Invitational Saturday.
Warsaw Invite moved up
Start time for Saturday’s Warsaw Invitational has been moved up from 2 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Stonehenge Golf Club in Winona Lake. Rochester is among the teams in the field.
