Argos 2, Plymouth 2 (Thursday): Elaina Conklin and Haley Shafer each had a goal, and Morgyn Barcus had two assists, but the Class 1A, No. 13 Lady Dragons had to settle for a tie on their annual Pink Game Sponsored by Marshall County Ounce of Prevention at Eugene Snyder Field Thursday.
Argos had a 15-7 advantage in shots on goal and 2-0 edge in corner kicks.
Argos is 0-1-1.Argos dropped out of this week’s Class 1A coaches poll.
Trinity Greenlawn 4, Argos 1 (Aug. 20): Samantha Umbaugh scored in the first half, but the Class 1A, No. 13 Lady Dragons fell to No. 7 Trinity Greenlawn in their season opener on Aug. 20.
This was the teams’ first meeting since Trinity Greenlawn knocked Argos out of last year’s sectional.
The Lady Dragons “showed promise for what remains of their season,” first-year coach Ty Adley said in a statement.
