Girls basketball
Westville 57, Winamac 35 (Thursday): Kandace Kroft hit three 3-pointers and scored 14 points, but the visiting Lady Warriors suffered their first loss to Westville Thursday.
Sadie Popejoy knocked down a pair of 3s and added nine. Cyaira Wolford added six, all in the first half.
Freshman Hillary Labis hit five treys and scored a game-high 29 points for the Lady Blackhawks. Andrea Benefield added 12.
Westville led 30-22 at halftime and extended the lead to 47-27 after three quarters.
