N. Mellott wins at No. 3 singles, but Valley’s season ends with loss to Warsaw

Warsaw 4, Tippecanoe Valley 1 (Wednesday): Noah Mellott won at No. 3 singles, but the Valley boys tennis team lost to host Warsaw in a sectional quarterfinal Wednesday.

Tristyn Ragon and Thad Shamaugh lost at Nos. 1 and 2 singles. Neither won a game.

Ian Cooksey and William Mellott lost at No. 1 doubles, and Brent Miller and Liam Newcomer lost at No. 2 doubles.
