Roudebush takes medalist honors vs. LaCrosse, LaVille

Due to wet grounds, sites for the Winamac-North Judson baseball games have been changed. The Thursday (April 29) game will now be played at North Judson and start at 5:30 p.m. Eastern.
The Friday (April 30) game will be played at Winamac and start at 5:30 p.m. Eastern.
Winamac has also moved its two-game series against Knox from May 3-4 to May 6-7. The May 6 game will start at 5:30 p.m. Eastern at Winamac. The May 7 game will start at 5:30 p.m. Eastern at Knox.
Also, Winamac has added a game against Lafayette Central Catholic to its schedule. Game time is 6 p.m. Monday at Lafayette Central Catholic.
Also, Winamac has moved up its game against Twin Lakes from May 22 to May 21. Start time is 5:30 p.m. at Winamac.

LaCrosse 193, Winamac 210, LaVille 244 (Tuesday): The Winamac boys golf team took second in a home three-way match against LaCrosse and LaVille at Moss Creek Golf Club Tuesday.
Winamac’s Jaxon Roudebush shot a 41 to claim medalist honors.

North Judson 191, Winamac 206, North Miami 246 (Monday): Jaxon Roudebush shot a 45 to lead Winamac as they finished second in a three-way match against North Judson and North Miami at Chesapeake Run Golf Club in North Judson Monday.
Shaun Pratt added a 51, Jaden Terry had a 53, and Trent Fox had a 57.

Winamac takes 5th at Pretty Lake (April 22): The Winamac boys golf team shot a 212 and finished fifth out of six teams in a nine-hole match at Pretty Lake Golf Club in Plymouth April 22.
Jaxon Roudebush shot a 43, Trent Fox had a 54, Jaden Terry carded a 55, Brayden Lynch had a 60, and Shaun Pratt fired a 61.
Culver Academy won the match with a 170. Plymouth was second with a 180.
Triton’s Cole McKinney shot a 2-under-par 34 to claim medalist honors. His round included four birdies.

Winamac girls take 5th at Twin Lakes Relays (Friday): The Winamac girls track team scored 35 points and placed fifth out of seven teams at the Twin Lakes Relays Friday.
Top finishers included the distance medley relay, the 4 x 800 relay, the long jump relay and the pole vault relay, all of whom finished third.
The distance medley relay team consisted of Ariana Gualajara, Kingsley Kroft, Lauren Fredel and Kate Collins.
The 4 x 800 relay consisted of Maggie Smith, Gualajara, Kelsey Wegner and Collins.
Kroft and Bianca Huizar were the long jumpers. Brenna Day and Fredel were the pole vaulters.
The shuttle hurdles relay placed fourth. That team consisted of Day, Collins, Kroft and Smith.
The 4 x 400 relay, the high jump relay, and the shot put relay finished fifth. Kelsey Wegner was also fifth in the 1,600.
The 4 x 400 relay team consisted of Bethany Poor, Guadalajara, Fredel and Kroft.
Smith and Collins were the high jumpers.
Ashlynn Jennings and Jewel Conner were the shot putters.
Kankakee Valley won the team title with 122 points.
Winamac 77, LaVille 55 (boys, Tuesday): Carson Bennett and Kolbey Wegner won two individual events each, and they teamed up with Jason Tankersley and Evan Eaton to win the 4 x 800 relay in a dual meet win over LaVille Tuesday.
Bennett won the 400 in 57.2 seconds and the 800 in 2:27. Wegner won the 1,600 in 5:21 and the 3,200 in 12:06.
The other Winamac individual winners were Kyle Olds, who won the discus with a throw of 122-2; Brayden Lynch, who won the long jump with a leap of 18-3; Cristian Cardenas, who won the 110 hurdles in 19.76 seconds; and Tankersley, who won the 300 hurdles.
Other Winamac scorers included Jason Tankersley, who was second in the pole vault with a clearance of 11-6; Shaun Pratt, who was second in the 200 in 25.3 seconds and third in the 400 in 58.7 seconds; Eaton, who was second in the 800 in 2:29 and third in the 110 hurdles in 21.1 seconds; Cardenas, who was second in the 1,600 in 5:44, second in the 3,200 in 12:45 and third in the 300 hurdles; John Malchow, who was second in the 300 hurdles; Olds, who was third with a heave of 32-0 in the shot put; Chase Keller, who was third in the high jump with a leap of 5-0; Sawyer DePoy, who was third in the 100 in 12.47 seconds and third in the 200 in 25.52 seconds; Tyler Tankersley, who was third in the 800 in 2:29; and Andrew Cardenas, who was third in the 1,600 in 5:46.
The 4 x 400 relay team, which consisted of Malchow, Bennett, Eaton and Keller, placed second in 3:56.
