Boys tennis
Rochester 5, Whitko 0 (Wednesday): Tanner Reinartz, Wade Bowers and Jack Reffett all won in singles, and the doubles teams of Harrison Dunwoody and Brady Morgan at No. 1 and Carter Merideth and Ashton Musselman at No. 2 won in straight sets for the Zebras in a Three Rivers Conference road win over Whitko Wednesday.
Reinartz stayed unbeaten on the season with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Keaton Cornell at No. 1. Bowers claimed his first career win in singles with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Aiden Baldridge at No. 2. Reffett won by forfeit at No. 3 singles due to Whitko’s lack of numbers.
The doubles teams lost only one game combined in four sets.
Rochester is 8-4 overall and 3-3 in the TRC. They have a road match against Logansport Monday and a home match against Northwestern on Sept. 25. The sectional draw is Sept. 30.
