Rochester’s Brant Beck, Tippecanoe Valley’s Brock Derf and Grady Moriarty, Caston’s Parker Zimpleman, Pioneer’s Micah Rans, Liam Rouch and Eli Guffey and Winamac’s Talen Garner were among those receiving All-State recognition from the Indiana Football Coaches Association last week.
Beck, who was named the RTC4 Football Player of the Year, made the Class 2A Junior All-State Team as a running back.
Derf made the Class 3A Senior All-State Team on defense as a linebacker. Moriarty made the Class 3A Junior All-Star Team as a linebacker.
Garner was selected as a defensive lineman on the Class 1A Senior All-State team.
Rans made the Class 1A Junior All-State team on offense as a quarterback while Rouch made it as an offensive lineman. Guffey made the Class 1A Junior All-State team on defense as an at-large selection.
Zimpleman made the Class 1A Junior All-State Team on offense as a lineman. Zimpleman was the only freshman selected for the Class 1A Junior All-State team.
