Girls soccer
Argos senior Morgyn Barcus and Culver freshman Ava McCune were voted Hoosier North co-MVPs in voting done by the conference’s coaches and released to the media Monday.
Barcus was second on the team with eight goals and tied for the team lead with three assists.
McCune scored 45 of her team’s 81 goals and also dished out five assists. McCune ranked third in the state in goals scored, and her 45 goals were the second most in school history.
Sophomores Leah Pizzuto, Samantha Umbaugh and Avarie Hines joined Barcus as Argos players on the all-conference team.
In addition to McCune, Katie Schouten and Amiyah Williams were Culver players making all-conference.
Argos won the conference title with a 3-0 record.
