Argos 44, Jimtown 33 (Thursday): Alydiah Leed scored a career-high 18 points, including 14 in the second half, and Ellie Bollenbacher equaled her career-high with 13 as the host Lady Dragons beat Jimtown at Phil Weybright Gymnasium Thursday.
Argos improved to 1-1. The win was Brian Jennings’ first as Argos coach. Jimtown fell to 0-2.
Leed hit three 3-pointers in the second half.
Bollenbacher had five of her 13 in the fourth quarter. She also had 13 in a game at Rochester last year.
Argos led 18-14 at halftime and 29-25 after three quarters before pulling away in the fourth quarter.
